I was tasked to make a short paper cutout animation for a project, in response to the given theme of ‘Time’. We were each given a part of an audio sequence to animate to.

I wanted to play with the ideas of life and decay, allowing them to overlap and sit in visual contrast.

This was stitched together with the rest of the animated audio sequences, and the final animation was shown as the opening sequence for Cartoons Underground 2023.
